Community connection and inclusivity underpin the recent upgrades to Lorenzdale Park, Whanganui, with a large barbecue area the latest addition.
Public consultation informed the dual-stage project led by community leader Kath Parnell of Te Ora Hou, a faith-based youth and community development organisation working with young people and families across the country.

As well as the barbecue area, stage one of the multi-faceted community space included the installation of exercise equipment able to be used by people of all ability levels from our partners Playground Centre.
